Everything! Amazing boutique hotel at a very good location. Nice rooftop pool. Very friendly staff ( As all Portuguese are) This was our second visit and we will come back for sure.

Great trip, lovely city and great hotel.

Staff lovely. Great location. Great breakfast. Rooftop plunge pool.

View from our hotel suite was awful. Brick wall from one window and very close office block from other. Couldn't open blinds or curtains. Was unable to tell the weather from looking out window. Although view was terrible we were out most of day so this didn't have too big an impact on us.

Really enjoyed our stay.Lovely hotel,food,drinks and staff.Pool was amazing after a hot busy day walking around.

Lovely stay in central Lisbon

Location close to everything but still quiet. Rooftop pool was lovely especially for the hot temperatures. Rooms were clean and tidied everyday!

Coffee in room was only instant which is a surprise for a 4 star hotel, nespresso pods were available in the self service bar for €2 each which is abit expensive, although should come as standard. Pillows a little thin, and bed seemed quite small for a double. Hairdryer was very weak

You will not be disappointed

We were met outside the Hotel by the Lobby Ambassador/Greeter who took our luggage and walked us up tp the reception desk. Since we arrived early and our room was not ready, he stored our luggage while we went sight seeing. Everything as described and more. The staff at the reception were fantastic as well. Breakfast was phenomenal.

The only this I did not like were the rude American guests there. As an American, I was really embarrassed by their actions. The bartender had not arrived yet so a server filled in. They raked her over the coals and she was nearly in tears but she remained professional and did her very best. Please remember during your travels in a foreign country that we are guests there and English is not their primary language. If they don't serve what you want, move on and try something new.

Excellent choice for a quick city stay !

We did not eat breakfast as we had an early flight. Everything was very good. Room and bathroom very nice and modern / renovated and bed extremely comfortable Location of hotel is very good The staff was exceptional ! Nice, friendly and very helpful Only disappointment was lack of Amy type of view of Lisbon The welcome drink and discount coupons to the restaurant were a nice touch

What was the highlight of PortoBay Marquês Hotel

Good value for a business trip and relaxing stays

Atmosphere of a genuine 4*: superb staff, superior cleanliness, perfume in the lobby, excellent soundproofing. My room was quite big, including a bathtub and bidet! The breakfast was a pleasant surprise: lots of choice and fresh fruit, I would recommend it. Finally, fast WiFi (45 mbps, tested) and Pressreader complimentary account (fantastic for major digital newspapers and magazines).

Rates more expensive than average and location is not the best for tourists (still, you can take the metro and be in the city centre in 10 minutes). Also, tech hardware is not great: TV is a dated 32'' and they use their own OS that doesn't allow change image/sound settings, colours were all over the place. Most channels looked streamed and in SD, not acceptable nowadays. Also, I couldn't make it work the vintage Bluetooth speaker and no instructions were provided in the room. These are small bits for me but I think they should address them.

Good value for money and excellent location

Buffet breakfast was great - and they were replenishing food right up until the official finish time at 10.30. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff at reception were fantastic and so friendly. The location was right next to the metro, and bus stop, so very easy to reach all the sites of Lisbon!

I felt that housekeeping could have replenished some of the toiletries - for example the vanity kit was not replenished in the two days we were there, and some of the cleaning could have been better (for example small amounts of build up on the shower head). But generally minor points. Room was small and a little cramped, but we were not in there often so this wasnt an issue

Perfect location few mins to metro quiet and felt safe returning at night breakfast the best had for long time good choice plenty of options and all quality

Wait for ordering drinks and meal in restaurant as only the manager can take the order not the waiting staff also despite booking dinner when we arrived the male manager was on the phone and stayed on the phone quite a while and no apology when he did finally greet us the female restaurant manager the evening before was much more efficient and quickly took our order for drinks etc small matter but it did feel rude
